A 3am desolate skyline gawks at me. Belittling me. On my balcony I forget who I am momentarily.
I resonate with the spiders in the corners forever webbing their homes in the cold. I’ve never seen a spider that doesn’t live alone. A meal a web and a home. A sticky home. Transparent. Fragile.
I want to web the letters that make up your name. And call it home. Yet here I stand as desolate at the city lights. Passing emotion candy. Dropping it into strangers buckets. It’s halloween and my costume is the horror of myself. Truths. Half truths. I web them together to build a home. I live alone etched in your name.
I am my own meal. A candy distributor. Affection. Remorse. A flower with petals of glue. My house is sticky and cold and without you.
