Entry #11: Mother Nature Bathes Me

mother nature bathes me. i am her rebellious daughter. smoking trees. flared throats. i trip over her roots. drenched in mud and twigs. soil. fingernails. dirty grass pressed to my stomach. it showers over me. yet i am not clean. only a tapeworm toddler. sticky water. still she bathes me under the clouds quiet laughter.
